Information Fluency Projects & Accomplishments
Engagement Grants & Pilot Projects
Pilot projects were invited to participate in the QEP/Information Fluency Initiative process in academic year 2006/2007. Each pilot grant was for a three year period ending in the 2008/2009 academic year. The purpose of the pilot projects was to identify student learning outcomes, implementing changes and assessing the effects of the changes. Our pilot projects, also known as Engagement Grants, have been very successful and a description of their activities and an assessment of the changes made may be found by clicking on the link above.
Enhancement Grants & Mid-level Grants
The QEP-Information Fluency Initiative invites participation in the Enhancement Grant Program. The Information Fluency Office provides $1,000 or $3,000 grants to academic and library faculty, student support professionals, and staff who are willing to design projects that will enhance student learning in the area of Information Fluency. The grants are to design a plan that may be curricular or co-curricular. The plan must show how and where student learning will be enhanced. Reports from the numerous Enhancement and Mid-Level Grants may be found at by clicking on the link above.
QEP Accomplishment Summary
In addition to the pilot projects/engagement grants and the enhancement/mid-level grants, the Information Fluency Initiative has many accomplishments on the UCF campus. A summary of these accomplishments may be found by clicking on the link above.
